Abstract

1310803 Propeller nozzles STROMMEN STAAL STROMMEN-RAUFOSS A/S 10 June 1971 [11 June 1970] 19842/71 Heading B7V A propeller nozzle comprises a number of sectors 7, 9, 10 each having a different crosssection 11, 12, 13 to produce a symmetrical water flow to the propeller which is located at line 16. The downstream end of the nozzle has a surface extending smoothly over the sectors. In a modification (Fig. 5, not shown) slits are provided ahead of the propeller zone.
