Abstract

1391944 Laminates ZELLWEGER USTER Ltd 22 June 1972 [1 July 1971] 29328/72 Heading B5N A laminated article suitable for dielectric printing to form a label comprises a paper layer 12 having a dielectric coating, an electrically conductive carrier layer 16 and an adhesive layer 14 bonding the paper layer to the carrier layer. The dielectric coating may be formed by applying to the paper a solution of a plurality of unsaturated monomers and a catalyst, many suitable monomer mixtures being specified. The carrier layer may be a metallic strip, e.g. of aluminium, copper or tin foil, alternatively it may comprise metallized paper.
