Abstract

Electrical condenser with front contacts, of the known type having sheets of synthetic material as dielectric, on which thin metallic plates, esp. capable of regeneration, are applied and in which, (a) an interanl serial assembly of plate surfaces is formed as a result of the first sheet of synthetic material being wider than a second sheet, and projecting on either side thereof, and being coated with >=2 mutually insulated plate surfaces extending to the opposite edges of the sheet, (b) a second and narrower sheet of synthetic material is coated with >=1 plate surface leaving marginal zones free along the edges of the sheet and overlapping two plate surfaces present on the first sheet (c) the marginal zones of the plate surfaces on the two sides of the wider sheet of synthetic material are each contacted by a sprayed metallic layer. The first and wider sheet of good contact while the second sheet consists of a material permitting a less good contact but having better electrical props.
