Abstract

The dielectric strips are staggered with respect to each other, and have one edge which is free from metallisation. The metal layer (3, 4) on one side of the strip acting as a main electrode is insulated on all sides from metal layer (5, 6) on the other side of the strip acting as an auxiliary electrode; an auxiliary electrode (5) is placed between two main electrodes (3, 4) and main (4) and auxiliary (5) electrodes on adjacent strips (1, 2) are in contact with each other. The adjacent layers of metal have the same polarity and the dielectric strips lie between the layers of opposite polarity.
