Abstract

1389363 Discharging folded box blanks from a belt conveyer J BOBST & FILS SA 16 May 1973 [24 May 1972] 23296/73 Heading B8A Laterally spaced support members 4 (only one, visible in Fig. 2), each slidable on rollers in a recess 12, in a frame plate 2, serve to minimize the friction opposing the movement of a stack of box blanks being discharged from laterally spaced conveyer belts 1. The blanks back-up to a stop 5 rigid with the members 4. The stop 5 bears on a member 6 which is mounted on rollers and is connected to a braking cylinder 7. The member 6 is also connected by a strap 9 to a weight 22 so as to apply a resistance to the movement of the stack. When the stack reaches a pre-determined length, it may be divided by lowering a member 8.
