1389205 Dispensing tube assemblies; collapsible tubes FLEXITAINERS Ltd 12 June 1972 [24 June 1971] 29696/71 Headings B8T and B8D A dispensing tube assembly (e.g. for adhesive) comprises a thermoplastics or metal tube 1 having a plastics or metal nozzle 3 which is closed by a removable plug 6 or cap (not shown) provided with an elongate spreader blade 10. The plug 6 may fit tightly in the oblong opening of the nozzle, or be snap-fitted therein by ribs or detents 11. The blade 10 does not extend beyond the shoulders 2. A hole or hook portion may be provided in or on the outer end of the plug 6, to enable the assembly to be hung up.
