Abstract

1361973 Portable containers METAL BOX CO Ltd 8 July 1971 [8 July 1970] 33094/70 Heading B8D [Also in Divisions F2 and B3] A handle 30 is connected to the end wall 32 of a container 11 by fixing devices at each end of the handle, each fixing device comprising a hollow, expansible projection 14 which is attached to the handle and arranged to pass through a hole 27 in the end wall 32 and a plug which is forced into the bore of the projection to expand a wall portion thereof and thereby secure the projection in the hole 27. The container may have a tin plate end wall 32 and the handle may be of plastics material.
