Abstract
1386641 Pulse circuits; block pulse extraction circuits STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd 14 Feb 1972 6700/72 Headings H3T and H4P A circuit for producing mono-polar signals and thus a sine ware from bilpolar input signals, e.g. to indicate the frequency of pulse time-slots, comprises two transistors receiving the input signals in erect and inverted forms respectively and having a common output coupled to the input of a biased transistor having a resonant circuit at its output. Transistors 1 and 2 are biased from potentiometer 13, 14 via transistor 3 to be normally non-conducting so that only positive and negative portions of the inputsignal above a given amplitude cause one or other of transistors 1 and 2 to conduct and divert current from transistor 3. The resulting pulses cause a tuned circuit 12 to ring and thus to produce the sine ware output at 18. The amplitude of the pulses my be adjusted by varying resistor 11.
