Abstract

1,231,640. Transistor switching circuits. CREED & CO. Ltd. 2 Oct., 1968, No. 46705/68. Heading H3T. A single to double-current converter (e.g. for telegraph signals) comprises three transistors and a single-current operated switch C arranged substantially as shown or with resistor D and transistor T interchanged (Fig. 2, not shown). The switch may be a transistor and the load a polarized magnet. Switching of the magnet may be speeded by a parallel R.C. circuit in series with the coil and switching in each direction may be made similar by shunting part of the resistance by a diode or the whole resistance by a series diode-resistor circuit.
