Abstract

1385962 Burnt lime and dolomite PREROVSKE STROJIRNY NARODNI PODNIK 8 Jan 1973 [19 Jan 1972] 2511/72 Heading C1A Burnt lime or burnt dolomite is produced from calcium carbonate or dolomite respectively in small particle, fine granular or pulverulous form by admixing with water (e.g. 7% by weight), lime (e.g. 3% by weight) or lime kiln fines and forming the resulting mixture into small bodies, conglomerates, pieces or lumps prior to burning. The calcium carbonate or dolomite or mixture thereof may be crushed to particle size 6 mm. prior to mixing and the small bodies, conglomerates, pieces or lumps of size 25-30 mm. formed may be subjected to CO 2 containing flue gas at 300‹ C. prior to burning.
