Abstract

Squares; bevels.- A combined square and gauging - tool comprises a two. armed square a, a two-armed angle. piece g adjustably secured to the square a, and a rule d adjustable secured to the square a and slidable in a slot in the angle-piece. The rule passes through a slot in the arm g, which is slotted also as shown, so as to be adjustable about a screw h, to which it may be clamped by the nut j. A nut e and screw f serve to clamp the rule. An arm of the angle-piece has a V-screw gauge in its end, and stops b, c are provided on the square so that when the angle piece is swung so that the end of the arm g engages the stop h and the screw gauge engages the stop c, the device forms a T-square and depth gauge. The device may also be used as a centre square.
