138,421. Stringfellow, J. Feb. 6, 1919. Dobbies; shedding-devers.-In a dobby wherein a positive straight lift is obtained to give a positive shed, the baulk lever B operates a lever C, which is hooked on a shaft D and is connected by a wire I to a jack E provided with a roller J to actuate a jack F, fulcrumed at K, whereby the heald is raised. Corresponding jacks underneath the loom are operated by a wire H connected to the lever C and passing around pulleys N, N<1>.
