Leno and like motions; shedding-motions; shedding-tappets.-A cam A, Fig. 3, is provided with lifting-surfaces a', a<2> between the picks to lift the healds sufficiently to allow the leno threads to cross, and a lower middle lifting-surface a to reduce the strain on the threads, lifting-surfaces a', a<4> for shedding being provided if desired. The cam A may be used in conjunction with a cam B, Fig. 1, having a, lifting-surface for the doup healds and with a cam having lifting surfaces c, c<1>, c<2> for shedding.
