Abstract

1382462 Drying or cooling granular material ESCHER WYSS Ltd 19 April 1972 [19 April 1971] 18233/72 Headings F4U and F4G Apparatus for drying or cooling granular material comprises a vibratory chamber 1 having a lower perforated plate 4 through which air passes from a lower chest 5 to fluidize the material on the plate, the weight of the apparatus being carried on helical springs 9 adjacent its centre of gravity and having groups of flexible thin plates 12a, 12b at its ends respectively embedded in a support carried by a stationary frame 11 and in a fixing member on the apparatus to ensure stability and guide its movement. Vibrators 13 having thrust tubes 15 transmit the vibration forces.
