Abstract
1381159 Selective signalling ZELLWEGER USTER Ltd 17 Aug 1972 [8 Oct 1971] 38389/72 Heading G4H To perform a code conversion, a flip-flop is set to gate clock pulses to a counter, the count of which in conjunction with the inverted state of the flip-flop addresses a read-only memory, the output of which is compared with an input coded value, equality resetting the flip-flop thus stopping the counting and reversing the corresponding address bit, the new memory address accessing an output coded value from the memory. The latter value can be used to control application of A.C. impulses to an A.C. power supply system for remote control (ripple control).
