Abstract

1380539 Fuse holders PYE Ltd 26 July 1973 35578/73 Heading H2G A cartridge fuse 8 is held in resilient electrically insulating body 1 against protuberances 6, 7 by resilient curved extensions 2 (3, not shown). Body 1 is inserted into a box-like housing, Fig. 3, in a direction 21 such that the conducting end caps 9, 10 of fuse 8 engage in U-shaped spring clips 29 which are secured to metal support 27 by, e.g. a rivet or welding. Walls 22 and 25 have externally disposed portions 33 with apertures 31 through which a bolt 30 may pass and engage in a threaded aperture in support 27, and may further clamp the inserted conductor of a connecting wire within passage 28.
