Stoppers, expanding- plug. - A bottle-stopper consists of an outer part A cut longitudinally down and completely through one side to receive an inner conical part B eccentrically arranged and connected to the outer part by a piece C of twine or tape. The apex of the cone B is provided with a metal protecting-piece B<1>. By applying pressure to the top of the inner part B, it is dislodged downwards, and the device can then be removed from the neck of the bottle. The two parts A, B may be of cork &c.
