Abstract

1379826 Transferring developed images XEROX CORP 9 Nov 1972 [23 Dec 1971 30 Dec 1971] 51802/72 Heading G2H To improve the quality of an electrophotographically produced image, the imagebearing areas of a xerographic drum I are subjected between development and transfer to corona charging and then to overall light exposure. Thus as the drum rotates area 65 is subjected to charging from a corotron 15 which may be D.C., A.C. or D.C.-biased A.C. and area 68 is subjected to overall light exposure from a lamp 16. A baffle 71 prevents light affecting area 65. (For Figure see next page)
