Abstract
A xerographic reproduction method and its corresponding electrostatgraphic apparatus, which method comprises displacing a photoconductive surface relative to a charging means, depositing an electrostatic charge on the surface to create a latent electrostatic image having image areas and background areas, displacing the surface so that it passes through developer means to develop the latent image with matter particles, transfer the matcher particles from the surface to a receiving member, deposit a charge from corona discharge means between the developer and transfer stations on the photoconductive surface, exposing the image and background areas of the photoconductive surface to light, after charge deposition is complete, to dissipate the electrostatic charge from the latent image surface.
