Abstract

1379674 Electro-photographic apparatus XERO CORP 8 June 1972 [9 June 1971] 26751/72 Heading G2H In an electro-photographic apparatus the photo-conductive belt 12 is moved through an exposure zone between rollers 20 and 21, the belt being held in the image-plane at said zone by a vacuum device which sucks the belt into engagement with a plate 52. The plate 52 is registered with the image-plane by abutment screws 77, 78 mounted on the machine frame. When it is required to remove and replace the belt assembly these screws serve to re-align the plate with the image-plane.
