Abstract

1379494 Cathode-ray tube circuits BLAUPUNKT-WERKE GmbH 4 April 1972 [3 April 1971] 15461/72 Heading H4T Mis-centering of the raster on a television picture tube due to manufacturing or other tolerances in the deflection system or in the tube is corrected by means of an adjustable direct current source 15 connected in series with the primary winding 10 of the line fly back transformer 11 and the horizontal deflection coils 9. The (simplified) horizontal deflection circuit is stated to operate by capacitors 4 and 5 charging through a charging inductor 2 and a further inductor 3 from a regulated mains supply 1 when during line scan periods, switch 6 is closed and switch 7 is open. The secondary winding 12 of the fly back transformer 11 supplies EHT via a voltage multiplier 13.
