Abstract
1,126,339. Valve sawtooth current generating circuits. INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP. 29 Nov., 1965 [1 Dec., 1964], No. 50582/65. Heading H3P. [Also in Division H2] The screen grid of the output valve of a television line time-base is supplied in part through a rectifier from an extra winding on the time-base output transformer. If arcing occurs in the transformer the rectified supply diminishes and the time-base output voltage is reduced to a value such that the arcing ceases. The circuit described is an otherwise conventional boosterdamper circuit with a linearizing circuit in series with the scanning coils and having an E.H.T. supply circuit.
