Abstract

1379061 Telegraph switching circuits GERATEWERK KARL - MARX - STADT IM KOMBINAT VEB MESSGERATEWERK ZWONITZ VEB 18 July 1972 33612/72 Headings H3T and H4P A single to double-current telegraph signal converter comprises two transistors connected by a diode and in series between the input line and between the terminals of a centre tapped battery, one transistor T1 being controlled by the input signal and the other by the voltage across the diode, whereby one or other transistor conducts depending upon whether a contact SK is open or closed. In addition a variable resistor is connected across each emitter-base path, the base of the other transistor T2 being also connected to a separate source of voltage. The resistors control the drive to the transistors. Fi is an input filter and an inductor Dr serves to provide compensation when single current operation is used.
