Abstract

1378537 Pumps operating by electromagnetic interaction with fluids VETRERIA DI VERNANTE SpA 17 April 1972 [16 April 1971] 17542/72 Heading H2A In a pump for molten metal comprising a non-magnetic, refractory conduit 2 and a laminated stator 3 including a plurality of polepieces 5 carrying cooled windings 6, a heat exchanger 7 is mounted on the stator and the conduit, stator, windings and heat exchanger are embedded in a refractory body 1. The windings are made of copper tubes through which cooling water is passed. Fig. 3 (not shown), illustrates an embodiment having four stators.
