1378457 Triazolylbenzophenones UPJOHN CO 14 March 1973 [7 Jan 1972] 8555/73 Divided out of 1374822 Heading C2C Compounds of the general formula (R 1 =H, C 1-3 alkyl, cyclopropyl; R 2-5 R=H, F, Cl, Br, CF 3 , NO 2 , CN, NH 2 , C 1-3 alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkylsulphinyl, alkylsulphonyl or alkanoylamino, di-(C 1-3 alkyl)amino; R 6 =H, C 1-5 alkyl; R 7 =C 1-5 alkyl; or NR 6 R 7 = pyrrolidino, piperidino, morpholino or hexamethyleneimino) and their acid addition salts are prepared by reacting a corresponding halomethyl compound with R 6 R 7 NH, optionally followed by salt formation. The above compounds are sedatives, tranquillisers and muscle relaxants, and may be administered in the form of pharmaceutical and veterinary preparations and food premixes containing them in association with a carrier.
