Abstract
1378245 Prefabricated trouser fly DOLLFUS-MEIG & CIE 30 March 1972 [11 Aug 1971] 15024/72 Addition to 1356989 Heading A3V A trouser fly, formed by securing to the front of the trousers a prefabricated fly assembly as described and claimed in parent Specification 1,356,989, is characterised by the insertion in the direction of arrow F of a band k of the same material as the forepart m of the trousers in such a manner as to overlie the portion of the inner supporting tape j which extends beyond the edge of the forepartm. The trousers forepart m, the prefabricated fly assembly including the supporting tape j and the band k are all fastened together by stitching n, n 1 in a single operation. The free edge k 1 of the band k is folded against and stitched to the corresponding edge of the tape j.
