Abstract

137,735. Kemp, G. C. May 19, 1919. Hooks, spring.-A clasp or fastening for jewellery &c. comprises a spring tongue 1 formed integral with or secured to one end of a body portion and engaging under a hook 5 at the other end of the body, in combination with upwardly extending sides 2 which protect the spring tongue against accidental pressure. The sides 2 may project level with the upper surface of the spring tongue or may be turned over the edges of the latter, which may be provided with a transverse rib for easy manipulation.
