Abstract

1376811 Valves DANFOSS AS 11 Jan 1972 [18 Jan 1971] 1190/72 Heading F2V A gas valve has a closure member 5 which is partially opened by energization of a solenoid 18 and is fully opened by energization of a solenoid 20. The armature 19 of solenoid 18 abuts a part 30 which is adjustably connected to a spindle 33. An opening 15 in the spindle receives a central pivot 12 of a toggle link 10, 11 that is pivotally connected to lever 6 which pivotally mounts the closure member at 9. The spindle 33 is also fast with a sleeve 34 which is moved by armature 21 of solenoid 20 via a spring 36, a return spring 39 being provided. A damping piston 44 in chamber 42 and having a by-pass 46 with an adjustable throttle 47 is provided coaxially of the solenoids and is abutted by the part 30 at the end of the partial-opening movement. Rotation of the piston housing, which has an adjustable armature end stop 49, adjustably rotates part 30 relative to spindle 33 due to the rotary interconnection of parts 30, 32.
