Abstract

1376447 Laminates LAMSON PARAGON Ltd 1 Sept 1972 [24 Sept 1971] 44639/71 Heading B5N [Also in Division B6] Business forms stationery 1 comprises a first record web 2, a second record web 3 and a transfer web 4 between the record webs, the transfer web being narrower than the record webs leaving a margin of the superimposed record webs clear of an intervening portion of the transfer web, the record webs being secured together by means of staples 6 only, the staples being in the margin and formed of the material of the record webs and the transfer web being adhesively secured to at least one of the record webs so that the transfer web and the or each record web adhesively secured thereto may be peeled apart. The adhesive may comprise a strip of adhesive 7 which is parallel to and adjacent a longitudinal edge of the transfer web on the upper surface thereof. Perforations 5 provided in the margins of the record webs are engagable by feed pins of data processing machines for feeding the assembly through the machines. After passage through a data processing machine the record webs may be pulled apart to disengage the paper staples and the transfer web 4 peeled from the upper record web 2.
