1375938 Disassemblable tables; furniture feet ANONIMA CASTELLI SAS DI CESARE CASTELLI & C 22 Aug 1972 [14 Sept 1971] 39118/72 Headings A4H and A4U [Also in Division F2] A disassemblable table comprises a column I detachably mounted at its upper end a frame 2 that detachably supports a table top 3, the lower end of column 1 detachably mounting a fitting 7 provided with grooves 10 or tongues detachably engaging complementary tongues 9 or grooves on the ends of respective feet 8; the grooves 10 and tongues 9 taper upwardly and the open lower ends of grooves 10 are closed by a boss 12 having a projection 13 fitting in a hole 14 in fitting 7; the parts are clamped by a rod 5 having a square lower head 18 and a threaded upper end 5a that receives a nut 6. A recess 8c in the foot 8 receives an adjustable stud. The table may alternatively be supported by two or more columns, which are braced at their lower ends by a bar (19), Figs.6, 7 (not shown) having end tongues (9a) engaged in the grooves 10.
