Abstract
1374388 Preparation of acetamido aminobenzoic acids BOFORS AB 13 March 1973 [14 March 1972] 12087/73 Heading C2C 3 - Acetamido - 5 - amino - benzoic acid is prepared by acetylating 3,5-diamino benzoic acid in an aqueous solution in the presence of a mineral acid, e.g. hydrochloric or nitric acid whereby the 3-acetamido-5-amino-benzoic acid is precipitated in the form of a mineral acid salt which is treated with a base to liberate the free acid.
