Abstract

1373824 Agricultural tractors KARL MENGELE & SÍHNE MASCHINENFABRIK U EISENGIESSEREI 19 Oct 1971 [19 Oct 1970] 48630/71 Heading B7H [Also in Division A1] A tractor is provided with a first set of controls for use during forward movement and a second auxiliary set for use during reverse movement. The auxiliary controls, for example, a steering column 40, brake pedal 30a and clutch pedal 30b are mounted on a plate 24 mounted below and to the rear of a reversible seat 26. The first steering system 27 includes a column 39, having a demountable steering wheel 38, and is mechanically connected by a rod 42 to a steering lever 41. An independent oil pump 43 is provided for power steering purposes. The auxiliary steering system acts only as a power system and includes a change over valve 44 connected to a double acting steering cylinder 46. Forward brake pedals 29a are connected to cylinders 48, 49 which are each connected to the auxiliary pedal 30a via a fluid cylinder 50. The auxiliary clutch pedal 30b is connected via a cylinder 51 to the main pedal 29b, Working implements may be fitted to both ends of the tractor.
