Abstract

1420373 Vehicle controls; seat arrangements DAIMLER-BENZ AG 13 Sept 1973 [27 Sept 1972] 43154/73 Headings B7H and B7J A vehicle for use with interchangeable implements such as a snow plough, digging implement, plough or loading crane has a driving cab 1 in which a driver's seat 2, steering column 3 and a control assembly 7 including accelerator, brake and clutch pedals 4, 5, 6 are connected by a girder 9 to form a single structural unit 8 which is rotatably mounted on an arm 10 pivotally connected to the platform of the cab 1. The unit 8 can be positioned at either end of the cab 1 with the seat 2 facing in either direction, and the seat 2 is rotatably mounted on the girder 9 so that the seat can face to the front or rear with the unit 8 positioned transversely of the cab. The unit 8 and the arm 10 may be moved by fluid pressure or mechanical means, and locking means are in operation when the vehicle is moving.
