1,115,296. Motor vehicles. UNIVERSAL MANUFACTURING CO. 6 May, 1966 [1 July, 1965], No. 20016/66. Heading B7H. [Also in Division F2] A self-propelled loader device with a pair of wheels on each side of a frame, each pair being independently driveable forwardly or rearwardly and on each side a boom 18, 18<SP>1</SP> liftable about a pivot by an hydraulic cylinder 19, 19<SP>1</SP>, the booms carrying a bucket 32 tiltable by hydraulic cylinders 21, 21<SP>1</SP> has two control levers 68, (89) of which lever 68 controls the direction of drive of one pair of wheels and is linked to a valve controlling the tilt cylinders and lever (89) controls the drive of the other pair of wheels and is linked to a valve controlling lift cylinders 19, 19<SP>1</SP>, the valves being operated by rotating handles on the levers 68, (89) transversely to the movement of the levers.
