Abstract

1373662 Valves EMI Ltd 4 Feb 1972 [19 Feb 1971] 4971/71 Heading F2V A non-return valve has a number of axially extending rollers 11 which engage valve ball 10 to constrain it to only substantially axial movements between its seat 13 and stop 14. Preferably, as shown, the rollers 11 are those of a needle roller bearing. The seat 13 may instead be formed by a part-spherical seating surface at the end of bore 7.
