1372051 Vehicle suspension ROVER CO Ltd 9 Dec 1971 [4 Jan 1971] 357/71 Heading B7D A motor vehicle wheel suspension comprises a wheel support 6 pivotally connected to a suspension member, e.g. lower wishbone 8, a spring 11 connected between the suspension member 8 and a sprung mass 12 of the vehicle and a clamper 13 connected between the mass 12 and an extension 6a of the wheel support 6 so that pivotal movement of the wheel support about the suspension member caused by jounce or rebound of the wheel also causes actuation of the damper. As shown, the wheel support 6 is also pivoted to an upper wishbone 7.
