1367477 Scouring wool RICHTER GEDEON VEGYESZETI GYAR RT 14 Dec 1971 [30 Dec 1970] 57920/71 Heading D1P Loose wool is scoured by a process comprising treating said wool in a bath comprising a proteolytic enzyme, e.g. papain or trypsin, and a non-ionic and/or anionic detergent. The bath may be acid, alkaline or neutral and the wool may be additionally treated with rinsing baths, aqueous baths containing common salt and enzyme or enzyme alone or containing no detergent. The nonionic detergent may be an alkylpolyglycolether and the anionic a fatty alcohol sulphate.
