Sash fasteners, pivoted-arm type.-On the pivoted arm d of an ordinary sash-fastener is slidably mounted a collar f which, under the action of a spring g, is adapted to engage a recess k<2> in the keeper-plate k<1> and secure the arm in the operative position, as well as to force the sashes apart to prevent rattling. The collar f may also engage a recess in a rib k<3> on the baseplate k.
