Abstract
1362921 Cathode-ray display tubes; printed circuits ISE ELECTRONICS CORP 24 Oct 1972 [25 Oct 1971] 48862/72 Headings H1D and H1R In a multi-digit fluorescent display tube, corresponding segment electrodes 16 of the digit patterns formed on a crystal glass layer 14 are interconnected by conductors 12 printed upon the ceramic substrate 11 and connected to the segment electrodes through apertures 15 formed in the layer 14, the surface of the structure-except for the segment electrodesbeing covered by a further crystal glass film 17. Perforated masks may be employed in the steps of laying down film 14 and filling the perforations 15, and of laying down the film 17, the whole finally being baked to bond it into an integral structure, whereafter a phosphor is applied by coating or printing to the segment electrode surfaces.
