Abstract

1361746 Electrophonic musical instruments NIPPON GAKKI SEIZO KK 6 March 1972 [6 March 1971] 10349/72 Heading G5J In a tone generator for electronic musical instruments, the notes of the chromatic sequence over the highest octave, are produced by a set of master frequency dividers, 5C, 5C sharp, ... , 5B, which are fed signals, alternately in sequence, from one of the master oscillators 6, or 7, the frequencies of which are chosen to be a semitone apart, thereby reducing the frequency error in the notes so produced. Further frequency dividers 3, halve the frequency of the notes, thus providing the notes in the lower octaves in the instrument.
