Abstract

1355822 Rotary positive-displacement machines ENVIRONMENT ONE CORP 19 April 1971 [9 April 1970] 54174/73 Divided out of 1355821 Heading F1F For use with apparatus for holding and thereafter grinding and discharging sewage or similar material as described in the parent Specification, there is provided a grinder-pump unit comprising a head 18 to which a motor 26 is secured, a casing 30 within which is provided a fixed flexible boot 33 having an internally threaded portion 34, which co-operates with a helically threaded pumping rotor 35, and a comminutor arrangement consisting of a stator ring 55 and an inlet shroud 58 having internal teeth co-operating with impeller blades 54 of a comminutor disc 53.
