Abstract

1353889 Door frames A BURGERS 19 April 1972 [20 April 1971 2 Feb 1972] 18191/72 Heading E1J A frame comprises two side members 2 secured on opposite sides of a wall by dowels 6, and joined to an end member 1 by further dowels 11. Dowels 6 and 11 are parallel. Surfaces 8 may be glued together or slightly spaced. An L-shaped member 12, 13 of synthetic rubber lines a door receiving recess. Mitred ends of adjacent cladding members are located by dowels (29, Fig. 2, not shown) and joined by a pin (26) secured by a nail through hole (27) and having a head engaging an eccentric wedge of a locking member (24) rotatable in a hole (23). The frame is of wood, plastics or iron.
