Abstract

1350566 Measuring worktables BJORO VZAIMOZAMENYAEMOSTI V METALLOOBRABATYVAJUSCHEI PROMYSHLENNOSTI 29 Sept 1972 44950/72 Heading G1M A workpiece 5, Fig. 1, to be measured by a feeler 73 and have its axis arranged parallel to the axis of a rotatable spindle 2 is supported on a worktable comprising a sandwich of plates 1, 3, 4, see also Figs. 2 and 4, mounted on rectilinear Vee grooved ball bearings 6-10 mutually at right angles and held together by a central spring 11. Lever 19, Fig. 2, fixed to a base plate 1 and having , a spring pivot portion 21 may be lifted and lowered by a micrometer 54 having a ball ended spindle 63 to pivot both plates 3, 4 about the left hand ball 6 in Fig. 2, and a similar lever 29 fixed to the middle plate 3 and a micrometer 55, Fig. 4, may be moved to pivot the upper plate 4 only about the ball 6 to the right of the figure. In addition, a micrometer 33 laterally adjusts the plates 3 and 4 together through springs, whilst a micrometer 32 similarly adjusts the plate 4 only. By this arrangement the plates 3 and 4 may be precisely adjusted about two mutually perpendicular coordinates A-A and B-B, Fig. 5.
