135,023. Prescott Co. Dec. 24, 1918. Slaughtering animals.-The animals are caused to breathe carbon monoxide gas either in a chamber or by means of a nose bag. They are then bled, flayed, and the carcases dressed in the usual way. It is stated that the flesh is less liable to decomposition.
