Abstract
1346674 Ingot mould stools HILTI AG 7 Aug 1972 [7 Sept 1971] 41572/71 Heading B3F An ingot mould stool comprises a slab 21 of haematitic iron formed with a tapering recess 22, the base of the recess 22 communicating with an opening 23 which passes through the slab 21, the opening 23 being closed off by one or more steel plates 24a, 24b, 24c held to the slab 21 by nails 25. The opening 23 may be tapered in the opposite direction to the taper of the recess 22. Carbon or refractory bricks 26 can be held in the opening 23.
