Abstract

1304982 Ingot mould hot tops E VALLAK 19 April 1971 [2 Feb 1970] 20142/71 Heading B3F [Also in Division C3] Ingot stripping is facilitated by the use of a hot top, composed of porous concrete, fibrous cellulosic material, binder and sand, which produces a smooth thin vitrous mineralic layer when contacting the molten metal. The hot top may be of one-piece construction or composed of slabs.
