1345696 Freight containers GALT EQUIPMENT Ltd 19 April 1971 [20 March 1970] 50196/72 Divided out of 1345695 Heading B8P [Also in Division F4] A freight container of the kind which includes a compartment in which an atmosphere conditioning unit 13, such as a heating or cooling unit, may temporarily be installed and easily removed when not required, comprises loading doors 11, the compartment 14, a plate 20 which closes the access opening in the side wall 18 when the unit is inside the compartment, and sets of mutually spaced battens 12 provided on the walls of the container. Heated or cooled air from the conditioning unit may pass into the container via the gaps between the battens. The housing end plate 20 is equipped with latches to engage suitable catches on the container side wall 18 for retaining the unit 13 in position.
