1344310 Photographic diffusion transfer AGFA-GEVAERT AG 2 Dec 1971 [5 Dec 1970] 56005/71 Heading G2C An image-receiving material for the silver salt diffusion transfer process comprises an image-receiving layer which contains development nuclei and, per sq. metre, 0À5-1g of gelatin, 0À5-2À5g of hydrophobic organic polymer and 1-10g of Ba SO 4 or aluminium silicate as matting agent, the polymer and matting agent being heterogeneously dispersed. Preferably the polymer is a homo- or copolymer of vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride, ethylene, vinyl acetate and/or acrylic ester, and is added to the coating composition as an aqueous latex containing a polyphosphate.
