1344285 Rail vehicle suspensions CREUSOTLOIRE 12 May 1971 [19 May 1970] 14512/71 Heading B7L A bogie comprises pairs of axles 1, 2 and 3, 4 and 5, 6, the end axles 1, 6 of the end pairs being steering axles, with a T-shaped draught bar at each end pivotally mounted at one end on the bogie longitudinal axis by a ball joint O, the ends of the arms of the T being pivoted in bearings 14 on pins 15 in axle boxes 23 on the respective steering axle, two beams 10 also being provided at each end of the bogie, the beams carrying springs 9 to support the load on the bogie and each resting at one end between curved abutments 24 on the associated non- steering axle box 23a, on the axles 2 or 5 so as to allow movement of the beam about horizontal and vertical transverse axes, the other end of each beam 10 resting on a cylindrical surface (not shown) of the associated axle box 23, each beam 10 being connected to its associated axle box 23 by two beams 19 by way of pivots 20 on the beam and pivots 21 on the axle box.
