1343705 Mounting bearings on shafts WERKZEUGMASCHINENKOMBINAT "7 OKTOBER" BERLIN VEB 1 July 1971 30954/71 Heading F2U An axial thrust bearing 5, 6 is mounted on a sleeve 7 connected at one of its ends to a shaft (e.g. by a nut 11 with two different pitch threads) where it abuts a shoulder 10. The sleeve 7 may be located radially by a spigot portion 9 at the one end, there being a clearance 12 between the sleeve and the shaft beyond this portion to allow resilient radial movement of the bearing.
